The 2011 New Jersey Bocce Invitational is raising donations for Operation Shoebox NJ and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Operation Shoebox NJ:
To organize the acquisition and shipment of personal items
to our brave men and women serving overseas.
This Includes:
- Raising Money
- Arranging for drop off points for donated items
- Picking up the donations from these drop off points
- The organization of events where volunteers pack these items for shipment
- Shipping the packed boxes.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is committed to enhancing the quality of life of children. St.Jude is unlike any other pediatric and research facility. Discoveries made have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastropic diseases. St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly. St. Jude hospital was founded by entertainer Danny Thomas and opened on Febrary 4, 1962.
